Which raises a whole other issue! Which mutant abilities are associated with with whickers??
None. The ability to induce mutation is all in the blind, careening radiation. The cat's follicle was nothong more than unwitting target of an event that began, perhaps, long before there were any cats - let alone their domesticated primate brethren - on our natal planet.
