Ex-Con, Cont.

The Story of Lucy, Part II -
Previously, Lucy had moved in next door, and was introduced to the human. Two or three months later, early one Saturday evening, the human happened to glance out the dining room window, and, there on our porch, was... Lucy! The human knew that Lucy was an indoor only cat, so she went to rescue her and return her to her home. "Hi, Lucy," said the human, "Can I pick you up and take you home?" And since Lucy did not say No, the human did. Or tried to - because the next moment, Lucy had exploded, scratching the human's face and escaping. Dripping blood, the human quickly went next door to tell them that Lucy was out. Lucy, it turned out, was in heat, which explained all of her most uncharacteristic behavior! It took the human and the neighbors about half an hour to find and coax Lucy into being captured - the human supplied the Fancy Feast, which helped. The neighbors and Lucy went home, and so did the human. A little while later, the human noticed that her right upper arm was blue and quite swollen and punctured with teeth marks!
