On The Bed

Thoughts on it - not being on it. (Yet.) OK, we are not a household that makes the bed everyday. Therefore, when we do make it, it's an adventure! First there's the un-making, which usually includes finding last week's New Yorker, some sprinkles of catnip (and if we're being truthful, some sprinkles of kitty litter, too), and, this time, a whole cache of cat toys... But it's the making part that is really the deal, as the poor human is "helped" by various and sundry cats/kittens... Tonight, for example, the human was working patiently around Petunnia, Lucy, Cloud, Cyrrie and Buddy, with Banshee "just" in the room - at least she was until Petunnia had her melt-down: Petunnia slugged Lucy, swung and missed at Cyrrie, and looked at Banshee, who immediately was elsewhere. But, all's well that, etc. Do we say that a lot??
