We keep our crunchies supply in a tupper-ware type box which sits on the kitchen floor. It has translucent sides, and is a cause of anxiety among cats and kittens whenever it becomes empty - regardless of whether the crunchies bowls are full or not. And, of course, the refilling of it is a moment of great excitement. Everyone crowds into the kitchen for the opening of the new bag.
