Crunchings And Munchings

We keep our crunchies supply in a tupper-ware type box which sits on the kitchen floor. It has translucent sides, and is a cause of anxiety among cats and kittens whenever it becomes empty - regardless of whether the crunchies bowls are full or not. And, of course, the refilling of it is a moment of great excitement. Everyone crowds into the kitchen for the opening of the new bag. They watch with great satisfaction as the crunchies pour, and then, of course, there's the extra pleasure of nibbling right off the top...

What is it with freshly-poured kibble? Gustav comes running the minute he hears the new pour. The others are fairly nonchalant, but one way to get them to eat is to top up the bowls. Not that any of them is suffering from any sort of calorie deprivation, or anything, but a parent worries.
