Bed Battle

Buddy is on the bed, having it and the human all to himself, when in comes Petunnia. She glares and stalks back and forth, and the human say, Be sweet, be good! It's ok, it's Buddy's bed, too, but you can share, etc. Eventually Petunnia jumps up where the human had been tapping, well away from Buddy, and settles on the human's lap. Buddy, however, jumps down. No, Sweetheart, the human says, come back, it's your bed, too, you can share, etc., etc., etc. But Buddy continues on out the door, while Petunnia rolls her eyes in the most melodramatic and sarcastic (and self-satisfied) way...
