An event occurred in the hallway just now. By the time the human arrived there were upset and offended cats and "kittens" exploding in all directions, like sub-atomic particles in a cloud chamber: Cloud and Cyrrie, Petunnia, Lucy, everybody mad at everybody else. One other "kitten" was involved, fleeing in the opposite direction. Let's see: AreToo was up in the attic, Banshee on the dining room table, Buddy on the couch, so that leaves...?
