They Go Too Far

It's late. The human came home late, but now she has her contacts out and is barefooted, and going down the hall she steps on something soft and faux-furry - obviously a cat toy, yes? No. She picks it up, and it's a... puppet! An ancient hand puppet, a tiger puppet, with green glass eyes, half-torn-off ears and an unravelling orange yarn nose. Ancient, grubby and adorable, and, for many many years, perched on a dresser untouched by cats or "kittens". Until tonight!

Sounds like the "kittens" are getting old enough to discern quality when they see it.

Hi, Sancy -
They are such creative little rascals - if not bringing strange stuff up from the basement, they're throwing equally myterious objects down the attic stairs...

SanDy - I do so hate the typos... (Of course, I could use the preview option, but that would be too sensible.)

Lizzy, you have the patience of a saint. Perhaps the puppet can be repaired?

Oh, dear - It seems I've "slurred" them again (somewhat)... The puppet was mangled before it met whoever - one of those things so ugly it's cute. (Unlike cats and "kittens" who are so cute they're cute.) However, that does not excuse their light-pawed little ways...!
