Goofy Little Guy
It's morning, and the semi-sleeping human is sitting with a cup of coffee looking near-sightedly at internet news sites. Suddenly a gigantic paw appears - no, wait, it's only a Cyrrie paw, being waved about half an inch from her nose. There's the little guy, on his tippy toes, waving frantically, brown eyes especially intense. When he realizes he has his human's attention, his loud purr starts up, like a roar. After a few finger gobbles (Cyrrie kisses), she follows him into the kitchen, where the bowls are a bit low but hardly empty. She tops them up, and, after a token crunch or two, he goes off, satisfied with his accomplishment.

Oh dear, LOL! You are such a pushover! And I do love the word pictures you write. Absolutely adorable!
This reminds me of what Chumley, my friends' black cat does to get her attention that he is "treatless."
He sits on the floor in front of the couch, still as a sphinx, eyes boring into her eyes, until she remembers to pull out the "Temptations." (Unfortunately, Cost Plus is out of the dried mackerel he loves so much, probably because she's been buying it by the caseload recently, so we're back to the cheaper "Temptations.")
Sometimes he hops up on the sofa and lays there with one paw on her knee, waiting to be acknowledged. Other times he roots around on the sofa next to her until he finds the treat bag and begins to paw it until she notices.
They rule. Totally. Totally. Totally...
