This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

There's something quite Jane Austenish about Lucy - she looks as if she should be wearing a lace fichu at her throat and multiple petticoats beneath her gorgeous silken garments. And, of course, that sweet, pretty face. The very opposite of gamine.
More pictures of Lucy rolling around on her back! She's adorable and I love the images you write about - the purring and wriggling...teh cute!
As a total Jane Austen fan (Lizzy, right?) I have to say that I think of Lucy in terms of an "I Love Lucy" commedienne personna - always remembering that she was Lucy before I ever met her....
That's what I figured. That you were a Jane Austen fan, I mean. I've always loved her writing. As for La Luz, she must be SO happy to be living with you, knowing she is loved and supported despite her impromptu eyebrow piercing assistance. Her previous life sounds simply horrid.
