Lizzy -- Thanks so much for your concerns. Fortunately, I'm in the middle of West Los Angeles and quite far away from scrub and trees (hopefully!).
However, isn't Political Cat in San Diego? There's a firestorm going on down there and huge evacuations.
I just got home (8:30 pm PST), so I haven't had a chance to check out her site.
Oh, thank goodness. I was just going into a tizzy of worrying over you, Sandy. Glad to hear you're safe. I'm actually quite a bit north of you, although I was in the heart of the last big fire up here. I remember how scary it was, trying to get out with two uncooperative cats. Glad you're OK. Stay in touch!
It's so good to hear from both of you - I saw your messages early this morning, but this is the first chance I've had to asnwer back... Love from 922 cats and "kittens"!
