Cold
Blame global warming, but the [lazy?] [tired?] human has not yet undertaken "winterizing" our house. This includes bringing the comforter down from the attic. As a gap measure, the human has been sleeping under her down robe (in addition to the flannel sheet, bedspread and quilt). Tonight, however, Petunnia is firmly ensconced on the robe (way expensive once upon a time) and the human does... nothing. Maybe she'll add her winter coat to the bed, just for tonight.

Poor, tired Lizzy. Be sure to get the comforter out tomorrow, if you can. I hate to think of you lying all cold in your bed as the Children monopolize all warm spots! Confession: I went trawling through your archives from day one to the present. I started missing those little devils so, I couldn't help it. Perhaps someday this blog's archives will make it into book form. There are some beautiful pictures and stories in here.
We leave day after tomorrow, and I miss my kitties and yours more than I can possibly express. How I hate leaving them! I look forward to coming back to my dear sweet home and my dear sweet furballs and reading of Angel's antics, and AreToo, and all the others. Is Banshee's asthma better? Has Lucy's butt been shaved for the winter? Is Angel's little thud! of collapse the result of ch? Could you please kiss all of them for me and tell them I'll be home soon and rubbing their tummies virtually with my cursor? I'll check in again tomorrow. (Weeps.)
Oh, dear - Hi, PC - I read your comment early this am, but had no time until now to try to answer... I hate to think of your babes missing you , but I hope you're able to do in a timely manner what you need to do for your parents... I'm so lucky to be a block and a half from my mother. I did give them all many extra kisses today, and when I talk about you and their other "fans" I really do think they get some "vibes". Banshee has had some attacks, and I'm going to get her back to the vetz next week, but she mostly seems ok. Lucy's butt, too! I do think Angel's "thud" is conntected to the ch, although he thrives otherwise. More kisses and tummy rubs, I promise. Please tell your cat-sitter to reciprocate for me!
Hi, I came by anyway because I couldn't resist. It's the yearly pilgrimage to the mater and pater (mistakenly known as vacation, although it's all work) and I was just miserable last night when I realized I wouldn't see my babes for two weeks. They'll be in good hands, plus I usually call and leave them a message or two on the answering machine. But I sure will miss your little guys. Thanks for giving them hugs and kisses, and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. And thanks for being so sweet. Do stay warm, I look forward to coming back and hearing that you are all perfectly well (that goes for you too, Sandy) and the furry guys have been amusing the lols out of everyone.
Dear Lizzy, you haven't blogged at all today. I hope you're OK, not tired or sick. Or horrified by my last before last post. I will check in tomorrow, and hope you're alright.
Political Cat and Lizzy - I do so enjoy your lovely comments and banter back and forth.
Lizzy - I've often thought a sweet little book could come out of your daily adventures with 922 cats and kittenz.
Lizzy, it worries me that you're feeling tired. Hope you'll get your energy back ASAP.
PC, we'll miss your comments just as much as you'll miss your cats and Lizzy's brood. Hope all goes well with your visit to the parents.
