Human Is Wiped Out
But this week is at last at an end - and manana (I tried to insert the tilda), I promise there will be more feather...
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Hi, Lizzy!
Sorry your week's been fraught! Hope this weekend will restore you. Do you have Monday off for a holiday as we do in L.A.? Veteran's Day?
I've finally caved in to the release of stress -- I've been sleeping a lot the last two or three days. The skies are unusually leaden for Los Angeles and so that's been a factor, too.
I've enjoyed your pictures of the babes with the feather. I had a bit of fun with Chumley the black cat when I bought a peacock feather for him a few months ago.
Take care.
Political Cat - hope your situation is improving jobwise and any otherwise.
I've been sending good thoughts your way, too.
Oh, noes! My rather long comment in answer to Sandy just got nuked! Well, I will try to recap: Hi, Sandy! (That was the easy part.) I'm glad you are resting some as opposed to being a sort of super-woman - drat, I said it much better the first time! Anyway. Rest, sleep, and kisses to Chumley. (Cloud broke the feather, but there's more where it came from...) (Pics will be posted!)
Hi, Sandy, Lizzy, still looking for work, but in a half-hearted way. Enjoying the time with the kids, although I'm rather offended by how they sleep the days and nights away. C'mon, fellas, you won't have me to kick around once I start working! I say, not that they listen. I leave town this weekend and won't be back for three weeks so please take care of yourselves and all the sweet little furbellies (including Chumley!) till I get back.
Oh, noes, oh noes! Alas, we will miss you EXTREMELY!! When you come back you will have to be even funnier, if that is in fact possible... Seriously, I hope your journey and your purpose prosper! Blessings.
Dear Lizzy, you are the best hostess! I will miss you and yourn terribly too, and you too, Sandy, with your grave words of wisdom and love for the little ones. I will try to check in if I can. It's a visit to the aging mum, don't you know, and dad, who are all ill and everything. Thanks ever so much for the blessings and good thoughts. I will also think good thoughts at you both and all the sweet little furcreatures.
Political Cat - We'll miss you and your colorful comments and smooshy loving words for the babes. Hope your visit will be a meaningful connection with your folks. Sorry to hear about their illnesses - it's hard to see our parents age and become fragile with illness.
Take care!
Lizzy - Hope the coming week will be less stressful! I'm loving the pics of Cloud with the feather. It seems to overwhelm her small body, but she's enjoying it so much!
Chumley thanks both of you for your sweet words. I've been cracking up over his silliness recently - my friend tends to snore at times and she said Chumley has finally had it -- when he can't take it anymore he departs the bedroom in high dudgeon to sleep on the couch. It makes me laugh out loud right now just to think of it!
