This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Is that an Indian print?
She definitely owns the rocker! And it is an Indian print, although an old one - I need to make a run to the closest college town to pick up some new ones (and I'll tell myself they're only for company, but then I'll get lazy, and they'll get full of pulled threads and little balls of felt after being laundered, sigh).
I used to have a beautiful burgundy and gold silk/cotton handwoven bedspread from India gracing the bed. This was possible with Faridah Peeples The Cleanest Cat in The Universe. After the boys arrived, we had to pack that thing away pronto anaconda their unbelievably filthy ways and their especially delightful habit of yarking on the bed, ugh!
Oh dear, oh dear, again - they somehow or other do seem t oknow, don't they?
