I hope these pics make up for the last week or so! (I plan on going to my polling place around 6:30 tomorrow morning - it opens at 7:00! Oy! Everyone: Vote if you haven't already! Help if you can! Pray, love, bless, whatever - we will need it all...)

Lizzy, you never have to worry about making up for lost pics! I am impressed that most every day you manage to add a post or two or more and that is admirable, especially in the midst of your recent workload!
I am working the polls tomorrow as I have done for the last several election cycles.
In anticipation that there will be a huge turnout, several of us worked together tonight to set up the booths and do prep work to make our polling place ready. It's located in someone's garage in a residential area near Century City.
We go in again at 6:00 am and the polls open at 7:00 am. We have several high school students who will be helping out, plus four or five people who've worked the elections before. I remember from the primaries that the action is non-stop all day long.
The only thing I will miss is being able to watch the news coverage during the day and evening.
I don't think we'll have long long lines like some places because our precinct is fairly small. Unfortunately, there is a possibility of rain. But at least we won't have to suffer through 100 degree temperatures, which we had just a couple of weeks ago during a period of Santa Ana winds that brings high winds and high temperatures with them.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for change!
Sandy be sure to take a warm scarf to wrap around you or to wrap your little hands in if it gets cold! And take your rain gear.
Lizzy, the sweeties are the best cure for election anxiety disorder - I have it in walloping great clods tonight. I'll be thinking of you both tomorrow!
