Oh, Dear! Blogging
Bandicoot - Dear one! Please be well. You are needed, sweetling, and your friends and fans at 922 are wishing you all the best...
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

How is Bandicoot? I am so hoping that the "comment deleted" doesn't mean anything bad...
Dear Lizzy, we got back from the vet yesterday and he said the lump on B. Coot's spine (which has been growing for a month now) was, as I had fervently hoped, a lipoma. Thank goodness! He's been a brave little soldier, being schlepped about and driven about and sniffed at by strange beasts with nary a whimper. His endless cold appears, says his doctor, to be an allergy, probably to his litter. So new litter will be bought, and the Baby's face doesn't need to be wiped and muffled in hot damp towels daily, for which he is duly thankful. As for Gustav, he got his shots and was pronounced an Honest and Genuine Real Pusscat, anaconda he has learned not to shriek quite so loudly at his medical attendants and even sneaks up on one's lap for a purr, now and then. So, a horrible time was had by all, but the end results were good.
Oh, and their parental unit couldn't take painkillers till after they were safely home and tucked in bed with the heat on for their poor little paws, which made for much moaning, groaning, and soft sotto voce cursing, but all is well, because the little ones are well, and one's fears need no longer be harbored but may be set free to sail where they will.
Yours in penitence, tpc
So glad to hear the good news!
Thanks for teh glad!
Oh, I'm so glad, too! The poor darling(s) (might as well include Gustav)... It's 4:32 am my time, and after taking an allergy pill I sat down at the computer hoping for news about Bandicoot - now I can go back to bed feeling better. I'll probably kiss some unsuspecting cat or "kitten" on my way...
