Spent The Day Reading
And being cuddled by sundry cats and "kittens"... They are my antidote to so many things....
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Hi, Lizzy (and PC, if you're lurking about) -
Hope all is well with you both. Your 922 cats and kittenz are a joy to behold in whatever state they're in. (Sleeping, posing, etc.)
PC - Has surgery arrive yet? I know you've had a painful time lately and I'm hoping relief is in sight.
I've been out of touch lately - my youngest brother (age 54) had prostate cancer surgery and we're all concerned about him. He says all is well, but it's been scary.
I love, love, love the way Obama has taken charge and is checking off all the promises he made prior to the election.
Because I feel a bit of relief even in the midst of this horrible economy, I truly have taken a vacation from politics (the Republicans are always and forever their usual nasty selves). Worry for my brother has been softened by checking into crafty blogs and being energized by the way people are recycling and creating in the midst of this economy.
Take care, both of you!
Hi, Sandy - It was so nice to see your name. I hope your bother is doing well - we have a beloved colleague who has undergone a long, scary treatment for prostate cancer - I'll add your bother to that prayer list. Like you, I am heartened by Obama and pulling for him all out - even if I wind up protesting an expanded war in Afghanistan. I love that you are focusing on sustainability and other positive things now, it's where we all need to be. You take care, too!
