This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Lucy, why is you so pretty? I can't resist that green-eyed beauty. BTW, Bandicoot's cold is back in force, and I have to clean his eyes daily, now. Soon as I can walk again, it's off to the doctor with him. (I daren't say "vet," he knows what that word means.)
Oh, dear - I am reading this right after posting about 'Toonya's acne problem... Oh, dear dear dear - little Bandicoot, get well quick so you don't have to go to the ***....
Lizzy,
I hope my comments are coming through to you (you mentioned having some problems below).
This is a beautiful feminine face - such a love.
Do your kittenz cry all the way to the vet like mine used to? When I took the two cats, I had yodeling all the way to and from. A very pathetic performance by two cats who felt very put upon. Silly babes!
Yay, it's Sandy! I made a post for you, Sandy. I felt inspired by Lizzy's example. She is a pretty thing, isn't she, all fluff and big eyes and eyeliner and pretty eyes and plump little paws.
I don't know about the 922, but Zingiber shrieks nonstop and is usually horribly hoarse by the time we get him home. He screams so loud! Faridah Peeples and Ramon Rivera hardly ever made a peep on the trip to and from the vet's!
Today's captcha: stobb. Whatever could that mean?
Yay! Ladies, both! Sandy, this is the first comment I've seen in my email, but I'll go back through the blog to see what I missed! Vetz-wise, my lot react variously, some melodramatically, some pathetically with occasional flares of pissed-offed-ness... (Can you picture AreToo hissing? It happened!) How is Bandicoot? (And Lucy says thx, btw!) (Midarge??)
Sandy, Did you get my actual email? I ask because I just found an email from a colleague from January in my junk mail folder!
I've got to stop posting as "Marygrove"...!
Bandicoot is doing much better, Lizzy, tx for asking. In fact, he's outside enjoying the fresh air - lying among the hyacinths and the blooming fleabane and lilies. He looks happy. We were clipping his claws, a long-delayed task, and found that one of his thumbnails had grown right into the flesh! Our sweet Cootz never complained!
