This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Picasa saves teh best for teh last, I guess. I love the tiny freckles on his chin. Please, I request many kisses for teh Angel. I wish I could rub his velvety nose and put my nose on his head to smell his clean cat smell! It's cold, gray, and damp here today and the PT told me to take the day off and rest because the knee was hurting. I will take my pain pills soon and become a vegetable from the neck up. The art project moves apace. I have finalized fabric and thread weight selection, and most of the pattern elements. I am ready to map the final pattern. Next week, cutting the canvas and selecting thread colours.
If only teh Angel was here, he could provide divine inspiration. At least until the naughty Angel took over!
Captcha's in a fine mood today! It just called Angel a name: impla (la is a nonsense word we add on to other words or sentences at random, for instance, "Angel, so naughty-la!). So Captcha thinks Angel is an imp, la!
So looking forward to the art project? Will you publish it in stages, or save the whole thing for a dramatic debut? Also - I really hope the pain isn't too back? Is it Gojira's wound, or "gp" (general principles)?
Oh, definitely stages. I'm very nervous about it. My drawing skills have languished over the years, although I did get out pads and pencils and rendered a reasonable first draft.
The pain is from overdoing it last weekend. I felt so good, I cooked a fabulous meal or two, but was on my feet for 4.5 hours. So the joint itself really hurts. Slept most of today, and now it feels a little better. It's raining here would you believe! It almost never rains in June, never.
What did you cook? In whatever level of detail you care to reveal (meaning recipes desired, if you care to share)...
Ground beef minestrone; Cabbage with aniseed; Roast pork loin with caramelized vegetables and an orange sauce; broccoli with pignoli; brown rice pulao. Recipes will be posted after PT tomorrow. It always makes me happy when people like my food.
