Sort of. I'm so overloaded these days. But I was very glad to see your "handle" in my email - I've been worried about you, too. Just for the record, I read your blog and signed the FireDogLake petition and donated. (I need to touch base with Pam, too.) But I had a busy weekend, and today and tomorrow are faculty workshops. I hope you'll be able to slow down soon. Sounds like the job may be mowing you down.
I love seeing how Nubia is now part of the crowd. It's great that they've accepted her.

Sandy! How close are you to the new southern CA fire/s? I hope it's far far away... I'll have more Nubia et al posts as soon as I can - it's not them not being bloggable - it's their poor human being... is there a word for being temporarily unable to blog?? (Verustre - shining thuthiness, do you think?)
