This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Watch them lazers!
solybea? What's a solybea?
Hi, Lizzy and TPC!
Whoa, where'd you get them peepers!
I hope Lizzy's work situation goes smoothly and the kitties support her in the evening to recharge her batteries.
You asked in an earlier post about the fires, Lizzy. I'm going out to see my Mom in Alhambra tomorrow (Wed.) for the first time since the fires began. Asthma and sinus gets me down, so I've waited until the huge cloud from the fires have died down. She seems to be weathering everything well indoors in air conditioning. I don't think the fires are completely contained yet, but that's farther out to the east of us finally.
It's been quite scary to look out toward the east and see HUGE clouds of smoke. It's the most smoke I've ever seen from the west side of L.A.
By the way, the official fire season hasn't EVEN started yet. We have yet to experience the dry Santa Ana winds.
Take care you two.
Oh, lord, Sandy, you're right! I remember the big fire here that burned us out of house and home, it was in October. Yikes! Hope your Mom is doing well, and hope driving out there doesn't upset your body! Paws crossed at mi casa for youz!
Sandy - So good to hear from you! Your part of the world has been in my heart and thoughts for many many days, now...
TPC - Solybea? Have you googled it?
Love to you both - stay safe! Pls!!!
