Wednesday: Lost a very long post (how the kittens got lost in the attic). Thursday: Batteries died in the digital camera. Thank goodness, we're back! (Kittens did get found again, btw.)

Having experienced the rage & frustration that comes from losing long (& brilliant! & never to be duplicated!) posts, I've welcomed Notepad into my life. That's usually where I start if I have a lot to say. Then cut and paste, and the rest is history...
I had this happen recently too. the mantra is
save to draft
every paragraph
to avoid the chore
of typing it once more!
