Spring!

Last night it was a bug - at least I think it was a bug - I never actually managed to make it out myself - but 4 kittens with up-turned faces and craned necks followed it obsessively for many minutes, on or near the living room ceiling... Tonight it was the ceiling fan in the bedroom - as if he'd never seen it before, Angel was totally mesmerized....

Yesterday I was with my friend who has a black cat named Chumley. All of a sudden, Chumley jumped up from the floor in a kind of corkscrew contortion and we finally figured out he was trying to attack an insect so small we could hardly see it. He's such a regal looking black cat that it's out of character to see him acting like a kitten. So cute and we laughed while he charged around the room trying to catch it.

Right now, Madu is being very very naughty. He's chasing an Invisible Monster around on the floor. His sister is helping by periodically leaping on him and biting his long, twitching tail. It sounds like WWIII under the bed. How good and sweet yours are, Lizzy!

Makoa has just discovered ceiling fans. We have a very imposing monster of a fan in our bedroom and he is terrified of it, just in the last few months. He wont like it at all once it starts moving hot air in the summer... The popoki are facinated by occillating fans and the tv both new things since comming to Arkansas
