Oh, No!
Not a good weekend for blogging - earlier today I transferred a bunch a pictures into Picassa, then deleted everything from the digital camera - and felt very efficient about it, for a change. Then I realized that Picassa had frozen and, in the end, all of my pics - at least some of which were somewhat cute - were utterly gone...

Lizzy,
So frustrating! We'll just have to imagine all the wonderful shots you took of the 922 inmates of your casa.
Life sometimes gives you lemons, but then you discover you've used up all the sugar.
My aunt and uncle host an annual Mother's Day buffet at a West Los Angeles private beach club and I was tickled to be driving my freshly washed 1988 Toyota Corolla into the parking lot behind a gigantic Hummer. When the attendant approached, he asked are you a guest or a member? When I said guest, he said you need to park in the nearby public parking. I was just thinking the Hummer would get a valet park, when I noticed it, too had to go to public parking.
Good thing I saw my brother before I left the lot. He gave me enough coins to pay the $7.00 beach parking fee. (Ironically, in the attempt to spiffy up my old Toyota so I wouldn't feel ashamed to park in the club lot, I had spent most of my cash getting the car washed and would not have had enough cash to pay for parking.)
In this case, my brother gave me the "sugar" so I ended up with lemonade after all.
(Sorry - rather long self-centered post.)
Hi, Sandy - That was a great post - I do love happy endings - sounds like a lovely day! The mob says Hi - well, actually Cyrrie says Feed me - but everbody else says Hi... And now I'm off to work! :)
