How can that beautiful carpet look so smooth and unblemished??? Mine is in tatters, yet yours and Aunt Jennie's are still perfect!
Actually, it is in tatters. It's wearing through where it gets the most traffic, and there's a spot they're digging up, even though I clip the threads to disguise it. Whenever I come in from outside, they all stop whatever they've been doing (or not doing) and sink their claws into something. It's such an enthusiastic greeting, it's hard to get mad at... (I can't blame the carpet for wearing out, either, since it's older than I am....)
