This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

That says it all!
(mournfully) You forgot "utterly kissable." Who could resist that little upturned brush of a chin?
And if you click on the image and blow it up, you an see one "toof" all pearly and adorable...
Ohmygoodness, now I want to kiss him more than ever! I think I'm in love, Lizzy. Sweet Angel!
Just now, Angel jumped up on the dresser, went over (thump), and lay there purring so sweetly I just had to give him a dozen kisses! 4 from me, and 4 each from ThePoliticalCat and Sandy... Thanks, guys, great excuse for over-kissing (Angel didn't mind in the least).
Thank you, Lizzy, for passing on my kisses to sweet Angel.
I hope you and thepoliticacat had time to relax and regroup during this labor day holiday.
I had a wonderful day at a local park where the breezes blew in the from Santa Monica Bay and cooled us down from the 100 degrees high we experienced here in Los Angeles. Later played Scrabble until 11:00 pm with the same friends, only this time we had a fan on us instead of the breezes. Indoors is no fun after such a day.
Okay, I'd like to order four more kisses for Angel, please. (This is nice - remote "kitten" kissing).
Oh, and thanks so much, Sandy, I did! Hope you did too, Lizzy!
That position is what we call "Serious Sleeping"
I looked at this photo again and I love how he is holding his "arm" over his head covering his ear. Sweetly sleeping in total abandon... One of the things cats teach us are the simple pleasures of life
I've thought about this a lot - I think a big part of their mesmerizing addicting power over us is the fact that they - predators par excellence - are so totally trusting of us - what could be more seducing??
