This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Lucy is a doll. I'm getting a bit worried about Sandy, tho. She said she'd check in.
I know, me too...
Sorry, guys!
This has been the most interesting surgery experience I've ever had (I've had three prior hospital stays with surgery).
The day of the surgery I felt well enough to go to a regular art group I attend. Yesterday I was out most of the day. Today I was at a meeting in the morning and visited my friend and her cat Chumley in the afternoon with mackerel treats for Chumley, which he inhaled ("all gone, Chumley!")
The only drawback so far is I can't drive at night, hence the afternoon visit. Something about the new implant clashes with my glasses, which I still need to drive, and makes the glare even worse from headlights. It's o.k., I need to slow down a bit. Everyone has been surprises that I'm not home resting. I feel very greatful, so far. Hope the second surgery is as easy.
Hi, Sandy -
It's so good to hear from you. Healing is always unpredictable - individual differences, etc. - but it sounds like you are doing amazingly well... Keep it up! :)
Yay, Sandy, I'm so glad to see you, and hear you're doing so well. The next one will be a breeze. I'll be out of town but the children have instructions to maintain a group purr.
