Middle Of The Night Blogging

I woke up a couple of hours ago in an almost fetal curl - and, inside my curl, was a counter curl - and it was Angel! And we had the following conversation: Angel! I said (softly), I remember when Dr. Jurgen weighed you, and you tied with Mini for runt! And I remember when you got sick, and I wrapped you in a tea towel and buttoned you into my raincoat. And Angel is like, Snooze! And I'm like, kiss his forehead, pet his beautiful fur, thank God and all the angels for the fact of his existence and his being here right now...

Oh, sweet, sweet, sweet!

Lizzy you capture these moments so beautifully!

Also, your skills as a photographer keep growing. I've been meaning to say how much I enjoy them and how well they capture the unique beauty of each individual cat and kitten.

I'm with Sandy. So touchingly sweet. (Stumbles off to kiss a slowly recovering Bandicoot.)

Hi, guys! I got in way late tonight, and it was so sweet to stand in the vestibule and watch circus - the running around - the robust kneading of claws on all sorts of inappropriate surfaces - but it makes me feel popular, so I usually give it a pass... and Now, however, I've been home long enough for them to figure out that it's health food night (as opposed to you know). And they're all like, Bummer.... I'm so glad to hear about Bandicoot - a slow recovery is acceptable even if a swift recovery is whole heartedly wished for. Love to him and his sibs, and to you both.....

Yes your photos of them are wonderful, and I do think that they the subjects are growing in the awareness that it is ok for you to capture these privacies with the camera...

I have those moments with Mak and Nani so tiny they would both fit in cuped hands and now they are 19 and 13 lbs repectivly and my Annabelle who was so small when I saw her for the first time last summer I could hardly believe she was real. She is still so tiny that children think she is a stuffed toy when they see me carry her in the park...

Tiny Annabelle sounds like Cloud, except that Cloud would NEVER let me carry her to a park! That must be LOVERLY...!
