Hi, TPC: Hugs duly applied, and, now, hugs to yours, too... Que pasa? Waz'up? If you are stressed out we will try to zap you with whatever good vibes, etc., we can muster...
We are stressed out. Sometimes what is happening in the world around us is so horrible, we just lose it. Today we yelled at the children. We were terribly sorry afterwards, and apologized, and gave out pets. And they are very understanding and forgiving. But it makes us feel so horrible and mean and small. We try never to yell at them or be angry at them, and mostly we succeed very well. When we fail, we just feel morally deficient.
Then we come here and realize how wonderful other people are to their little ones, and that makes us feel even worse. And, oddly, better, too. It's as if the sweet pictures and stories of your furry family makes us realize how precious our own is.
They're very good to me, my guys. They always forgive.
Oh, PoliticalCat, I know you know this already: But none of us are perfect. And thank God (or whatever) for our fellow beings - feline, human, whatever - who forgive us and renew us and help us go forward. These are terrible times, no kidding: macro and micro scale. I have so much respect for you and the serious stuff you tackle on your blog... And your comments on my little baby blog give me such a jolt of encouraging energy. Hang in there and cop some negative ions, direct from yours and remote from mine!
