"Fair Warning"
It's what I shout to the babes when I'm about to vacuum - in this case it means we'll be off-line tomorrow - I should have my computer back on Monday, but in the meantime I'm off work tomorrow and Sunday (and I'm finding my Mom's 9 year old computer + dial-up agonizngly slow). Love to all from 922 cats and "kittens"!

Glad to hear you've been improving, plus time off for good behavior!
It's been a stressful month - My brothers and I have been boxing up and moving all of her things out of her old room at her retirement home since she's now permanently in the "Health Unit." She shares a room now so we had to pare down her belongings and they've gone to my brother's home until all the siblings gather in May to go through them to decide what to do with them.
It was hard to go through her life's collection of things and come across such things as a wedding picture of me 40 years ago (divorced long since), plus all the recollections of how strong and energetic she's been compared to her recent decline.
However, SHE seems to be taking it all in her stride and adapting. A friend came with me to visit her this week and said "she's adorable - cute as a button." Also, I think she's getting consistently better care now and she actually seems to be improving cognitively. So I'm relieved and feeling better.
Sorry for the long post. Once I get started, I can't seem to stop!
