Downside Of Cuddling

Just now Cyrrie and I had a mega-cuddle. He came in to the computer room and just banged his head into my arm to get my attention. So I petted him as he paced and gobbled my fingers and then finally I scooped him up and hugged him. He was purring so loud and hard! Usually his squiggle factor kicks in - squirm, wiggle, run away, come back in a few minutes and start all over. This time he just stayed, and when I was getting tired I realized he was clinging tightly to my arm, just like his sister does. So the cuddle went on and on. When it was finally over, my eye lashes were full of Cyrrie fur...

Awwwwwwwwwww...so sweet! What a nice cuddle. Your babes love your attention, that's for sure.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.

I wonder if he had a day-puppy? That's their equivalent of nightmare, yaknow. The murder mystery is close to being finished! Meeting with my writing partner in a bit to discuss edits.

Happy weekends to both o' youse.

HI, Sandy! Hi, PoliticalCat! I confess, I'm still working through the day-puppy concept - is it a GOOD thing??

Oh, no. Most cats wouldn't want a (clumsy, silly, large, and scary) puppy wandering through their daytime naps. Don't you think?

I often have to pull long cat-hairs out of my eyelashes. Most tiresome. Hope you got rid of your Cyrrie-fluff.

Hmmmm...all those long cat hairs in eyelashes must result from snorgling kitty bellies. How delightfully delicious!

Busted! Those bellies just call out one's name, Sandy. What's a helpless hapless hoomin to do?
