Hi, Lizzy and PC! I just found out something interesting. Obama's grandmother was a Vice President for the Bank of Hawaii (their first female VP) at the same time my Dad was a VP for the Bank of Hawaii. I imagine he knew her or of her. My Dad retired in the 1980's and passed away about 10 years ago. He was a strong Republican, so I doubt he would support Obama today. I remember visiting him at the Bank when I was there on vacation. So funny how close our degrees of separation can turn out to be sometimes.
I just saw a picture of Obama's grandparents on his mother's side when they were young -- Obama looks SO MUCH LIKE his grandfather, it's uncanny.
On another, far more important matter, I'm so glad the cats and kittens can feast on FF to their hearts' content.
