Wow, Is It Really Thursday Already?

Hey, PoliticalCat - I don't know if you're reading blogs this weekend, but I hope somehow or another you get the vibe - I am praying for you especially right now (and for other women friends with health concerns): a calm, peaceful, restful weekend, successful surgery, and a quick and hopefully easy recovery and return to your fur-babes... My fur-babes are comiserating, rooting and praying for you, too (in their own purry way).

Hi, Lizzy - I am avoiding all blogs but yours. Those beautiful babies make me feel better. It has been a horrid two weeks, with everything going wrong that could, and now I have had all appointments and bleedings and testings and thumpings, and I'm exhausted. I have double copies of my paperwork in case they lose anything, and I'm taking a book in the vain hope that I'll actually be able to read. I'm ready!

I've been having very very strange dreams which I plan to blog when I return, two weeks from Monday. It's been a horrible five years, and I will be so grateful just to have the pain end and no longer have to take these terrible pain drugs which have turned me into a cross between a vampire and a slug (ugh! what a hideous thought!), and dancing and hiking and gardening and leaving my tiny bedroom and seeing the beautiful world again.

Thanks so much, Lizzy, mismn, for your kind words and thoughts. And Sandy, wherever you are, I think of you and miss your cheerful voice. I'll be back and better! (Trying to stay positive). I have instructed someone else on how to medicate the good little Bandicoot (who never struggles or complains) and left word for his doctor in case he needs more medical care. Please think of his sweet furry self when sending good energies. I will miss him, and all the others, so much! Grateful thanks and love, tpc

TPC - I was so glad to see your comment! So sorry to read about your problems these last 2 weeks, and glad to read that you're ready and looking forward to life being much, much better. You are very much in my heart and thoughts, and I will definitely add little Bandicoot to my prayer list, the poor little darling... I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing your next comment and knowing that you're home... Love and purrs from all of us! PS, I saw Pam yesterday at the protest, walking around all healthy after her knee surgery - a good role model, may I suggest... :) We talked about you.

TPC - I'm late to this "party" but I sincerely hope all will be well with you after the surgery. I also have experience of a series of horrible years and am alive to tell the story and more or less relieved to still be here.

My voice hasn't been very cheerful lately, so that's why I've be absent. But you've been in my thoughts and things are smoothing out gradually.

My brother's surgery went well and he is recuperating at a steady pace. I hope and pray you have the same experience.

I am looking forward to hearing more about your gardening - I've missed your reports on that.

My thoughts are with you and I'll be checking back to hear how you are.

Lizzy - Your lovely blog about cats and kittenz is a godsend. I love your witty little snippets of life with 922 lively babes. Reminds me of my two boys. Especially waking up with cats sleeping on or next to you.

Bless you both and hoping the path of life smooths out for all of us!
