Yay! And Whew!
After 2 hours at the vetz, we are back home with very good news - FLV and FIV both negative; intestinal parasites, no; no fleas! (amazing!); earmites, yes, but ears cleaned and treated; not pregnant (or at least it's extremely unlikely); vaccines started... And she was so good! Calm in the waiting room, in spite of hyperactive dogs and even one pretty stressed out cat crying in it's carrier; so good and sweet with the doctor and the technicians - who, of course, had to do all sorts of awful stuff to her... She's back in the food pantry, now, where I'm thinking that after her long ordeal - and the shots - she'll probably nap for a while. Later on I'll see if she's interested in FancyFeast. (So relieved, so grateful!) (We're going to give her 3 or 4 weeks to gain some weight before we spay - she's almost twice the size of Cloud, and weighs less.) (Oh, and the doctor thinks she's at least a year old - I was thinking 6 months.)
