I'd love to see (and hear) this THUD.
Well, at least it's a single thud. Imagine how you'd feel if each kitty collapse was preceded by a series of thuds, bangs, crashes, and ... bumps in the night.
Disclaimer: *Thud* is also a recent novel by my favorite author, but there's really no connection...
