This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Angel! What a good, sweet child. What's he helping with this time?
Rats, it's not Angel, it's AreToo! I should've recognized his little spats.
McBlogget points out that a bird's head is visible on AreToo's satiny shoulder.
I mix them up all the time! I start, Hi A- Oh, it's YOU! And whoever it is is like, Duh...! And they both have the wings, wouldn't you know? :)
I love your menagerie! I slowly reread most of the archives yesterday, chuckling all along. You have a delightful way with words and images, Lizzie. Plus your sweeties provide lots of wonderful material.
Even after seeing many pictures, I am still uncertain who's who, except now I know AreToo (white stripe?) from Angel, right? NOW I know why you called this blog 922 CATS. It certainly seems that there are that many.
I especially love the stories about the water fountain.
I have to say, it was a joy to read the archives -- it's like finding an author that I've never heard of and discovering they wrote 20 MORE books that I can now devour. A treasure trove!
Please keep going with your lovely posts. It's fun to take a peek at your "sweet and good" kitties.
Hi, sandy-la 90034 - Thank you so much for your way sweet comments - they really got to me... Telling them apart? I can't always! Banshee is senior - SHY tortoishell with green green eyes; then it's Petunnia - calico tabby - not a cabby, but it should be - then Lucy the plumpkin - Buddy the short-tail - then the "kittens" - Cloud and Cyrrie, planned, Angel and AreToo, not... The seniors all have green eyes, the juniors all gold - strange, that, I think. :)
