Hot!
It's May 8th, 7:20 ish pm, and I have 3 windows open and one fan going, and it's 76' in here (with cats and "kittens" sprawled attractively across various surfaces)...
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

In West Los Angeles we're having record-breaking heat -- probably same temp as you, but very dry and the fire hazard warnings are up all around the L.A. Basin.
I have fans on, too. And "my" Kittens are the ones I find on the internet -- attractively arranged in various positions, wherever they may be!
All five of mine have been sprawled in the garden all day. They came in to eat (of course!), and then elongated over the marble tile. It's very impressive how long they get when they're hot.
Sandy - Where are you in relation to the fire? I'm hoping not too close, but will be thinking about you today...
The fire is actually quite a few miles east of me. But seeing the nighttime photos of the fires was scary and I used to live near the area (many years ago), so it's weird to think of a huge fire in the middle of the city, even though the park is large. There's a zoo there, too. I hope the animals are safe.
Thank you for your kind thoughts!
