Alas, no... I got to where the YouTube video showed up in preview and even played, but wasn't there after I hit publish.... There was an error message:
Your HTML cannot be accepted: Tags cannot enclose tags a href+"ftp://
Whatever that means...! (And actually, even though I typed it in rather than copied/pasted, the whole message did not show up when I previewed this post - it's a conspiracy!)

That code: Tags cannot enclose tags a href+"ftp:// is incorrect. The correct code to use is (angle bracket)a href="URL"(closing angle bracket) and close it with a /a in angle brackets. Because the equals sign and the plus sign share a single keyboard key, it looks as if whoever typed in the html code had the caps lock or shift key depressed. If you like, please send me the code and I'll see if I can fix it for you.
You can't render the error message because there are tags in it. When you post it, the blogger software sees the tags and either renders them invisible and the space or word between them as a link, or sees an error in tagging and will not let you display them. To work around that, type braces or curly braces in place of each angle bracket. That should solve the problem.
