Almost Forgot To Blog This
The exotics vs the domestics - based on appearances only, I can easily imagine Banshee and Angel moving through wilderness landscapes, hunting - dark, mysterious, powerful... The others, um, no. Perched on pillows or blankies or books, yes, eating out of antique saucers, yes, but the gaudy little things clearly belong in civilization (or what currently passes for it). And so this afternoon when Petunnia and Angel were both in the bedroom with me, I mentioned this. Angel was like, Cool, but 'Toonya was definitely offended. As she glared at me, I clearly heard, Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright, and I was like, Yep, TigerGirl, I stand corrected...

I thought Petunnia-Petunnia was moonlighting as a Macy's float? Pretty nervy of La Grande Dame to get riled with her loving Mamma over such a, um, slip of the brain. Kisses to Her Exotic Majesty, if she's taking 'em.
It appears even the frivolous and dainty have dreams of the jungle and the power and majesty of the tyger! Sounds like Petunnia has dreams of channeling her inner tiger - you go, girl!
"Channeling her inner tiger" - I love that. And yes, I seem to be back in her good graces, if I am right in interpreting being sat on that way...
