So Remiss Not To Blog When On Vacation!

Our Grandhuman came for dinner, and, not surprisingly, there were almost no cats or "kittens" - even with FancyFeast, Angel, Banshee and Buddy were still MIA - can I blame it on the fireworks? which they truly do not like - or on the vacuuming which preceded the Grandhuman's appearance (but only slightly - nick of time, etc.). (It probably didn't help that the stupid smoke alarm went off while I broiled our dinner.) (It is totally in the wrong location.) Cyrrie and Buddy are currently helping me blog - Buddy nicely silhouetted in the dining room window, Cyrrie playing with a mousie on the strangely empty landscape of the table. The one thing I really wanted was for Mom to help me trim some matts off the Luce - no such luck - Lucy did show for the FF, but cannily vanished immediately her plate was clean... They're always a couple of steps ahead of me - what can I say?
