Helping Themselves, Part???

This happened yesterday, and I confess to being embarrassed by the fact that I never seem to learn but also kind of impressed by their initiative... I had dinner with the grandhuman last night - bacon sandwiches, yum - and the grandhuman sent home a little bag of leftovers - 2 or 3 pieces of bacon. It was in a bigger bag with a newspaper and some letters to mail. I hooked it over a dining room chair back, gave them their regularly scheduled FancyFeast, and then answered the telephone. By the time I got back to the bag on the chair, there was a hole in the bottom and no bacon bag to be found. Much later I found the little bacon bag - no bacon to be found. Impressive, really, don't you think?
