Feral Cat Update

Although we've been putting out food and water faithfully ever since Jennifer's rescue of the feral from the freeway, no one from the Library has actually seen any cat (or other critter) actually eating the food. Last night a cat-loving, cigarette-smoking, faculty member confided that she's seen a "light and dark" cat hanging by the Library walls... It has to be him!

Hi, Lizzy!

How are things gong? A little slower?

I hope you had a great weekend in Chicago with your longtime friends.

I'll bet you're beginning to stock up on pumpkins and other fall decorations. I've officially changed seasons - got out my Fall doormat and Pumpkin door hanging that welcome visitors. Picked up a few baby pumpkins to put around with candles and I'm ready!

Unfortunately, Los Angeles in Fall has temps in the high 90's to 100's so the crisp fall air hasn't arrived to go with the decorations. More like beach weather still.

Hope all is well with you and the 922 darlings.

Hi, Sandy - I had an absolutely great weekend! Thank you so much!! I've been away from "news" for almost 3 days, though, so I'm not up on the fires, etc. I hope you're ok, and TPC, too - I worry when I don't hear from wither of your for a while... (I was also away from cats and kittens for close to 3 days, so I'd better go indulge....)
