Hard Work

Home improvement is hard work - even when you're not doing it yourself - maybe especially when you're not doing it yourself... As the windows were being worked on yesterday, I kept finding work to do - laundry, for example. Late last night there was a huge pile of laundry on the bed - including the mattress cover, sheets, pillowslips, etc. And I was way to tired to do anything other than shove it over a foot or so. I slept on the bare mattress, under a quilt and some fleeces. Angel, on the other hand, slept at the very summit of the unsorted, unfolded, unputback laundry. And he loved every minute of it...
