Well, in the daily battle against cat hair, I declare a broken vacuum cleaner a genuine emergency. Sirenita Lake, who sometimes blogs at ThePoliticalCat, took her computer in because it was generating slashes throughout every page of open files, at random. The technician took it apart and said it was cat hair. (Hmm?)
