TPC - Battle Star Galactica
I don't watch television any more, but, somewhere - I have an original BSG action figure robo-puppy...
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

I don't have a television. But Netflix has the entire BSG series. Just started Season 2, Episode 1 today. Also, threw my back out. Unhappy. But I'll be fine tomorrow. The kittehs send their love, as does their hoomin, to all at the House of 922.
Oh, noes! How did you throw out your back, poor baby, on top of everything else?? I'm off tomorrow, and hope to blog and post some pics...
You know how sometimes you'll just be walking and suddenly a horrible wrench happens in your lower back so that you can't even breathe? It was one of those. Two days with ice packs and pain pills and fervently wishing for death instead, with some very unsympathetic little furbags ("But WHY can't you play with us, WHY?" "I need my ear scratched. NO! On the OTHER side!" "Hold my paw. Just hold my paw! I hate you, you won't hold my paw.) You can just read it in their little thought bubbles. Horrid children that they are. Gojira actually fell asleep on my ice pack when I dragged myself out of bed to get a glass of water. And was VERY miffed that I dared to move her. (Sigh) I thought about your dear little ones and how sweet they are (or so their chronicler says, anyway) and admonished mine: Why can't you be like Lizzy's 922? Huh? Nearly one thousand of them, and look how sweet they are, how well they behave. Slitty green looks of incomprehension, mixed with sarcasm and outright superciliousness, followed by a joint thought bubble: Who do you think we are? Get a robot.
Then they turned their backs on me and slept. Right through noon. Hogs.
I'm looking forward to more pix of the beautiful hundreds.
Oh, you poor thing! As of you weren't in enough pain already!! (I quite enjoyed your obviously exaggerated account of the unsympathy you experienced...)
