Given how much of a foodie Cyrrie is, I think Buddy's expression is reflecting his deep-seated inner fear that Cyrrie might just decide to nom him.
You loled me again! I never thought that Cyrrie might think of Buddy as food (or fud) - but he COULD be food, after all...
