Laundry Blogging
Just about the last thing I did before going to work this morning was to bring up a load of laundry from the dryer. I plunked it down on the dining room table, but before I could do anything else, Lucy installed herself - way elegantly - on top of the pile... Oh, ok, I said, and headed out. When I came home most of the blankies, towels, robe, etc., were on the floor. I only hope Lucy didn't go over with the laundry. (She seems fine.)

Oh, my. Pre-hairing the fresh laundry for your convenience. I am so tired of pulling Bandicoot's woolly, fine undercoat hairs out of my eyeballs. The opthalmologist looked disgusted when I mentioned that it was hard to keep the hairs out of the contact lenses. I thought a mean thought at her, but it was only a tiny little one, along the lines of, "Well, YOU'll never have a warm kitty neck to nuzzle, serves you right."
Kisses to the whole lot of 'em.
Since my little kitteh boys slept on my bed with me, I used to bring up the laundry baskets filled with sheets still hot from the drier and, instead of folding them and putting them in the linen closet, I'd let them sit out so Ramses and Keiki could plunk themselves down inside all of that wonderful heat. They were in blissed out states of heaven!
Oh, yay! Sandy, I was just blog-worrying about you and the fires... I'm so happy to see you pop up on the comments!
AND, PolticalCat - Do I know about cat hairs and contact lenses...? Is it worth it? TOTALLY! Oh, my - all that LOVE vs a little tiny bit of total agony? Hands down!!
