Thank You, Michael
I just found your card as I went through a pile of mail that I had been tossing onto the table - the card was lovely, the thoughts were sweet and comforting, and the 'toons made me smile...
This blog is the ongoing story of nine-hundred and twenty-two cats, including kittens. We consider on a near daily basis the poetics of cat sensibility - the wit, brilliance, elegance and magic of catdom. We try to ignore hairballs and their sound effects.

Lizzy!
I'm so sorry for the loss of sweet Banshee!
Damn - I can't think of words adequate enough to comfort you.
When my Keiki-boy died (almost 18 years old) I took two days off work and drove around residential areas near me with tears pouring down. (There's no sense to why I did that, but it seemed the beauty of nature and flowers helped a little).
I hope your pain eases as time goes by. So sorry!
Hey, Sandy! (Hugs the absent one)
Hey, Lizzy! (Hugs the sadddened one) Just checking.
You ready for today's captcha? Cos I LOLed: catrist
Would that be you? A catrist (artist for cats)? Or a cat triste (saddened by cats?)?
Sandy -
Wow. My image of you mourning for Keiki is very powerful - we do reach out for beauty for comfort... and I do believe we don't totally lose our connection to the lovely little beings that we love just so amazingly much... It's so good to see your comment - and please, do let me know, did you get my email? 922's - even diminished as we are - want to support you in every way! And TPC - catrist and cat triste!!
